Rosamund Pike
Born in London, England in 1979, Rosamund Mary Elizabeth Pike was the only child of Caroline (Friend) who was a classical violinist mom, as well as Julian Pike, an opera singer father. Because of her parents' jobs, she spent her childhood touring around Europe. Pike was born in Bristol and went to Badminton School. She then started acting at National Youth Theatre. Pike first made an appearance in a National Youth Theatre production "Romeo and Juliet". She was signed by an agent following being spotted. Pike also began acting at the National Youth Theatre. The film she made her debut in was a huge-budget action thriller. However, her subsequent film work was mostly independent films like Promised Land (2004) and The Libertine (2004).
