Sarah Chalke

Sarah Chalke was conceived in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, 27 August 1976. Angie Chalke is her mother and Doug Chalke are her father. Sarah is the middle child, having an older sister, Natasha Chalke, and one younger, Piper Chalke. Sarah began her acting career in a TV-made movie, City Boy (1992). In 1993, shortly after her first film, she auditioned for the role of "Becky" in the TV show Roseanne (1988). Following the time that Alicia Goranson left the show to go to college The show was looking for the perfect replacement. Sarah completed her high school graduation in 1995 while filming the 1994-1995 season of Roseanne (1988). Also, in 1994, Sarah co-starred in the film Ernest Goes to School (1994) together with Jim Varney. In 1996, Sarah played in two films: Robin of Locksley (1996) and Stand Against Fear (1996) where she was a cheerleader with the name Krista Wilson. Sarah was asked to be a part in a TV show named Nothing Too Good for a Cowboy (1998) the same year following Roseanne (1988). Based on Nothing Too Good For a Cowboy (1998), the show also took inspiration from. In 1993 Sarah took over Becky's part on Roseanne (1988). She stated that she would like to leave acting and attend college. 2001 (1993-1997) She played Sara Gilbert's older sister on Roseanne (1988), however, she is actually younger. Participated in the 1999 CCMA awards ceremony and was awarded the award for the most outstanding single. [September 1999] At age eight, she appeared in Vancouver theater productions. Fluent in French, German and Spanish. She works in a hospice that caters to terminally ill children and works with the Audrey Hepburn Children's Fund. In her spare time, Chalke prefers cooking with acquaintances (especially Thai and sushi) and playing guitar as well as hiking, skiing (she's an instructor) as well as kayaking, snowboarding and reading. Her father is a lawyer. both of her parents are mediators who also run a child adoption agency. Two years ago, she accompanied her parents to China for the purpose of coordinating the adoption of orphans in China.
