Genesis Rodriguez
Genesis Rodriguez was born in Miami,
Florida. She is the daughter of Jose Luis 'El Puma' Rodriguez who is a famous
Venezuelan actor and singer, and Carolina Perez, a Cuban model. There are two
half-sisters to her. She was educated at the Carrolton School of the Sacred
Heart in Miami. Since childhood, Rodriguez knew she wanted to act and attended
lessons in the summer at the renowned Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute,
as well as beginning other acting classes. Rodriguez was a regular on Spanish
language television shows such as Dame Chocolate (2007), Dona Barbara (2008)
and Prisionera (2004). She also played Sarah in the popular show
"Entourage" (2004). Film projects include Man on a Ledge (2012) and
What to Expect when You're Expecting (2012). Jose Luis El Puma’ Rodriguez's
daughter. Half-sister to Liliana Rodriguez and Lilibeth Morillo. She told The
Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, 9 January episode in 2013 that she was
named Genesis following the British rock band Genesis. She is is Cuban and Venezuelan
